Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistani firing in Uri kills 2, injures 4 civilians

Two soldiers have been killed in firing by Pakistan in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir. On Friday, Pakistan opened fire for no reason in the Uri sector of Baramulla district.

Two soldiers martyred

Indian troops responded to Pakistan's move with a stern response, but Pak. Four soldiers were injured in the firing. He was rushed to a nearby military hospital. However two soldiers lost their lives during treatment late Friday evening. These soldiers have been identified. One of them is Havildar Gokarna Singh while the other is Shankar S.P.

Pakistan fired in the afternoon

The two soldiers undergoing treatment at the hospital are Havildar Narayan Singh and Nayak Pradeep Bhatt. Army spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia said Pakistan started firing without cause in the Rampur sector near LoC at around 3.30 pm on Friday. Three soldiers were injured in the incident.

Four people were injured

Earlier, four people were injured in firing on Pakistan. Police say the firing from Pakistan in civilian areas has frightened people. Villages like Charuda, Batgran, Hathalanga, Mothal, Sahura, Silikot, Balakot, Nambala and Garkot were hit by the firing from Pakistan.
