Jammu and Kashmir: Clashes between army and militants, two terrorists killed, 5 jawans martyred

Clashes between the army and militants continue in Handwada, Jammu and Kashmir. The army has killed two foreign terrorists here. Five jawans, including two senior army officers, were killed in the operation. The martyrs include a colonel, a major, two army personnel and a Jammu and Kashmir police sub-inspector. The clash has reportedly been going on since Saturday. The firing has stopped here but the army operation is still going on.

The army destroyed the terrorists' hideout with an explosion

Two foreign terrorists were hiding in a house here before the clash. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police recruiting center. The blast set the entire house on fire. The army is now investigating its debris.

Army search operation continues

Apart from this, the army is also conducting a search operation in the area. The whole area is sealed off. The traffic was light at this time of night. The last few days have seen a surge in terrorist activities in the valley. Apart from this, Pakistan is also constantly violating the ceasefire on the LOC.
