Indian virus more dangerous than China: Nepal's PM

Amid the border dispute with India, Nepal has rekindled the controversy by announcing a new political map. The map shows Lipulekh Road, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura in Nepali area. Meanwhile, Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has also issued a statement against India over the Koro epidemic.

In a statement issued in Nepali, Oli said people coming to Nepal from India showed serious symptoms of corona infection while citizens from Italy and China showed mild symptoms of corona. There has been no reaction from the Indian government to KP Sharma Oli's statement.

With the emergence of 27 new cases of corona virus infection in Nepal on Tuesday, the number of Kovid 19 patients in the country has crossed the 400 mark. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, nine new cases have been reported in Zapa, four in Kapilvastu, three in Kathmandu and two in Sarlahi district. In addition, in Morang, Sunsari, Bhaktapur, Makawanpur, Ramechhap, Lalitpur, Sindhuli, Lamjangu and Nawalparsi, one patient in Kovid-19 is infected with corona.

According to the Ministry of Health of Nepal, the total number of patients infected with corona virus in Nepal is 402. The ministry said the age of patients infected with the corona ranged from 17 to 42 years. 6 of them are also women.

India has sent 23 tonnes of essential medicines to Nepal amid the Koro epidemic. The drugs sent by India include 3.2 lakh paracetamol and 2.5 lakh hydrochloquine.

There have been 1,06,750 cases in India so far. Of these, 61,149 are active cases. So far 3303 patients have died and 42,297 have recovered.
