Corona virus has claimed the lives of millions of people around the world and more than 100 countries are trying to find a vaccine but so far no one has succeeded. The team formed at Oxford University to find a vaccine to protect people from the corona virus also includes Chandrabali Dutta, a scientist of Indian descent.

Chandrabali was born in Kolkata and he felt very honored to be a part of this team. She works at the University’s Jenner Institute at the Clinical Biomencuring Facility. A trial of a vaccine called ChAdOx1 for the second and third phases of human testing of the corona vaccine is underway at the same site.

If this experiment is successful, the world will have significant success in fighting the corona virus. It could also be a potential corona vaccine if the trial is successful. Dutta said working as a quality assurance manager means ensuring compliance with all levels of standards before progressing through the testing phase. They are currently hoping that the vaccine will work in the next phase as well.
