New delhi date. May 28, 2020, Thursday

No one would have thought that the Corona epidemic would also be a means of corruption.

Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajiv Bindal has resigned over allegations of corruption in the purchase of PPE kits for the treatment of corona patients. The BJP national president has also approved his resignation.

In the much-hyped case, the Himachal Pradesh government, under the direction of Health Director Ajay Gupta, had ordered the purchase of a PPE kit worth Rs 9 crore, in which 40 companies had submitted tenders.

In this case, however, the rally has now reached the BJP. State BJP president Rajiv Bindal has resigned and said that the state government has arrested him after the audio clip of the health director went viral. Vigilance is investigating. Some people are pointing fingers at the BJP, so an impartial inquiry is needed into the matter. I have resigned on moral grounds.

She was also making it clear that she has nothing to do with the BJP. Those who make such allegations are insulting the social work done by the BJP during her illness.

It is to be mentioned that the information of this scam has been conveyed to PM Modi. Finally, the matter of who wrote the letter informing the PM about the scam has become a topic of discussion.
