From now on, our employees will do 'work from home' forever: Twitter

New York, Ta. 13 May 2020, Wednesday

Twitter said on Tuesday that it would not open its office before September. At the same time, Twitter has made a big announcement that even after the end of the Corona virus, most of its employees will always be 'work from home'.

The San Francisco-based company said it was one of the first companies to offer home-based work since March following the outbreak. The company also said that its policy of working from home will continue.

A Twitter spokesman said: "We made the decision immediately and allowed the staff to work from home. We have always emphasized decentralization. At the same time, it has contributed to efficiency from anywhere. '

"Last month proved that we can do that," Twitter said. So if our employees are in a position where they can work from home and they want to do so forever, we will let them work from home. '

Twitter said that if the situation allowed, they would open any of their offices slowly and carefully, one by one.

According to a Twitter spokesperson, it will be up to us to decide when to open the office. We will be in the office if our employee returns. With few exceptions, the office will not open until September. Now when we decide to open an office, the situation will not be the same as before.

Google and Facebook have already announced that most of their employees will be working from home by the end of this year.
