Private agency Skymet has said that the monsoon in India has officially started from Kerala. Monsoon has started earlier in Kerala than earlier forecast. However, India's official government agency IMD said it could not be announced whether the monsoon has started yet. On the other hand, Skymet CEO Jatin Singh said, "We have announced the onset of monsoon in Kerala after examining all aspects." Meanwhile, the country was scorching hot in Vidarbha on one side and heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh on the other.

According to Skymet, we have predicted the onset of monsoon in Kerala considering the rainfall, outwave longwave radiation (OLR), wind speed and other values. The monsoon starts in the country from Kerala and then reaches the northern and western parts of the country within two weeks. However, on the one hand, monsoon is forecast, while on the other hand, the temperature has been rising in some states along with rains.

In Uttar Pradesh alone, five people have been killed in different incidents of heavy rains. According to the IMD, heavy rains and hurricane conditions prevailed on the one hand while Wardha in Vidarbha recorded a low of 7.5 degrees Celsius, the highest in the country on Saturday. In the same state of Maharashtra, the temperature on Friday was 4.5 degrees Celsius, which dropped by three degrees in just three hours. Even in the capital Delhi, the temperature had reached 4 degrees a few days ago, where the maximum was recorded at 7.5 degrees today. Double weather was witnessed in several states, with temperatures remaining as daily as in some states while heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh killed five people. In Bihar, the temperature was one degree higher than normal. In Uttar Pradesh, heavy rains along with strong winds caused many trees to collapse. Churu in Rajasthan broke the temperature record, though it is currently hovering at 4 degrees Celsius, while Barmer has the highest at 20.5 degrees Celsius.
