Disappointing results of high hydroxychloroquine, claim in a research

New research claims that the results of the much-hyped hydroxychloroquine drug for the treatment of corona have been disappointing.

The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine in the United States, looked at 1,400 patients receiving treatment at Columbia University and found that the drug hydroxychloroquine did not reduce the risk of death or respiratory distress in patients.

Doctors have written in it that, this research has given some important suggestions. Hydroxychloroquine is also not an amulet cure for this disease.

An earlier study had claimed that the use of hydroxychloroquine caused a sudden increase in heart rate and even death. The study found that 565 patients who did not take the drug remained stable, compared to 811 patients who did not take the drug. A tube was needed to take it.
