Covid-19 vaccine may never be available: Boris Johnson

British Prime Minister Boris Jones has warned that a vaccine against the corona virus is almost a year away and that a vaccine to control it may never be found. He proposed a phased opening of lockdowns to prevent the spread of the corona virus in Britain, emphasizing the need to maintain social distance and use one's discretion in opening up the economy.

He said there is more than a year left in large-scale vaccines or treatments. He also outlined the work done by scientists at Oxford University and Imperial College London to find a cure. "The worst case scenario is that we don't get the vaccine," he said. So our plan should be to deal with this situation so as to avoid the consequences of the transition with all the work done.

Jones acknowledged that the only permanent solution was a vaccine or drug-based treatment. He said Britain was stepping up its efforts to develop a reliable vaccine and had partnered with Oxford University and pharma company AstraGenes to facilitate its rapid production once the Covid-19 vaccine was developed. Under global efforts he has raised .8 388 million for research to develop vaccines, diagnostics and treatments.
