Covid-19: Record-breaking 195 deaths in last 24 hours, however recovery rate also rose to 27.41 per cent

Corona cases are on the rise in the country, with the last 24 hours witnessing the biggest jump in the number of corona cases and deaths in the country.

Meanwhile, 3,900 confirmed cases have been reported, and 195 people have died, while the number of confirmed cases of corona in the country has risen to more than 46,000, with 1,568 deaths so far.

According to the health ministry, 1,020 people have recovered in the country in 24 hours. The number of people recovering from it has risen to 12,726, now the recovery rate is 27.41.

The reason for the increase in positive cases of corona

Health Ministry Joint Secretary Love Agarwal said the reason for the record increase in new cases in the country in the last 24 hours is that more cases have been reported in the states, the cases have definitely increased.

But there is a need to understand that the efforts initiated to stop its spread have proved fruitful, and there is a special need for people to strictly implement social distance.

In addition, there are no timely reports from many states, which have been discussed with the states, followed by an increase in cases of infection and the resulting deaths.

He said there was a special need to ensure that even during the corona virus infection, people should be provided with the health services that are associated with it, and that even critically ill patients should be provided with immediate health care.

Home Ministry Joint Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava said the process of repatriation of Indian nationals stranded abroad would begin in phases from May 7.

The Government of India will also enlist the help of the Navy in this work. According to the information, a standard operating protocol has also been prepared for the repatriation of people.
