Corona test positive of 548 doctors, nurses and paramedical staff across the country

Nine doctors, nurses and paramedical staff across the country have suffered coronary heart disease, according to figures released by the Center. However, the figures do not include field workers, ward boys, sanitation workers, security guards, lab attendants, pawnbrokers, laundry and kitchen staff.

According to official sources, the doctors, nurses and paramedics could not be reached for comment.

The figures include doctors, nurses and paramedical staff on duty in hospitals run by the central and state governments.

According to official sources, it was not known how many of them contracted the infection in the hospital and how many contracted it around their homes as medical staff did not investigate how the infection spread.

Some of the doctors who tested positive for corona have also died, but the exact number has not yet been released.

According to official sources, six doctors in Delhi have contracted the virus. In addition, corona tests of 6 nurses and paramedical staff have also come positive. In the last two months, 14 healthcare workers, including seven resident doctors, have tested positive for corona at the centrally run Safdarjung Hospital. On the other hand, reports of 10 healthcare workers, including five air resident doctors and five nurses, have also come positive in AIIMS.
