Corona control situation in India is very good, death rate is lower than the rest of the world: Ministry of Health

Amid the rising number of corona virus infections, some statistics are not only positive for India but also reassuring. The Corona virus, which originated in China, has killed 3,23,285 people worldwide so far. The number of deaths from corona in India is 3303. The death toll in India has risen to 1,306,750 while the death toll has risen to 3303. The relief is that the death rate in India per capita is much lower than in other countries.

Informing Union Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan, he tweeted, "India's record in controlling Covid-19 is the best in the world. Covid-19 to 4.1 people per one lakh population in the world have died while the rate in India is only 0.2.

The health minister has released the chart as per the statistics till May 19. In India, a comparative reduction in death cases indicates measures to be taken to diagnose the disease in a timely manner, the ministry said. At the same time, Health Minister Dr Harshvardhan has said that India is not behind in its clinical management by identifying Corona's case.

While India's statistics are good in terms of death rate, the average number of people infected with corona per one lakh population is also very positive. In India, 7.1 crore people are infected with one lakh population, which means that out of one lakh population, 7 people are infected with the crore. When we look at the world average, 60 people out of a population of one lakh are infected with corona.

The recovery rate of patients recovering from corona is also very good. According to the ministry, the recovery rate is over 38 per cent which means that about 38 patients out of every 100 are recovering.

As of 8 am on May 20, the total number of corona patients in India has reached 1.06,750. 3303 people have lost their lives, while 42,298 have recovered. There are currently 61,149 active cases.
