Beds are missing in Mumbai hospitals, new hospitals are being built in the grounds


New Delhi, May 10, 2020

In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, it is time to build a hospital and quarantine center in an open space as hospitals are getting full due to the growing number of corona patients.

Mumbai Corporation has started construction of India's first open hospital at MMRDA ground, which will be ready by May 15. The number of corona patients in Mumbai is more than 12000 and the number of beds in hospitals is decreasing. Will be increased to 5000.

The 1.25 lakh square feet hospital will have oxygen as well as a washroom. A laboratory will also be set up. At present, 350 beds have been prepared.

Similar hospitals have been set up at the National Exhibition Center in Goregaon as well as at the CIDCO Exhibition Center in Vashi. Both the places will have 1000-1000 beds.
