9 foreign workers killed in road accident in Bihar

In Bihar's Bhagalpur district, six foreign workers were killed when a truck overturned while trying to rescue an oncoming bus, police said in a statement. The Superintendent of Police of Nogachia said in a statement that the accident took place on National Highway No. near Ambho Chowk. 21 was created at 9 o'clock in the morning.

The official further said that the laborer started his journey on a bicycle from Kolkata and on the way he appears to have rented a truck. The driver and cleaner of the truck fled after the accident, sources said. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced Rs 4 lakh assistance to the families of the deceased.

Another accident has also killed four foreign workers in Uttar Pradesh. According to police, three people were killed and 15 others injured when a truck carrying foreign workers overturned in Mahoba. The accident took place on Jhansi-Mirzapur highway. According to police, the laborers were traveling from Delhi and appeared to be sitting in a truck near the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

In Banda, on the other hand, a laborer riding a bike was killed and his friend was injured. The accident took place when the bike collided with a tractor-trolley. Both of them were going from Surat in Gujarat to Deoria in Uttar Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as 6-year-old Brijpal Singh and was living in Surat.
