10% of India's GDP relief package, these 4 countries of the world are ahead of us

Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore. PM Modi has dubbed this the Self-Reliant India Package. He said the package would help keep the economy afloat.

Rs 20 lakh crore is 10 per cent of India's GDP. The Indian economy is worth Rs 200 lakh crore. India has set a budget of around Rs 30 lakh crore for the year 2020-21.

Let us know which countries in the world have so far announced relief packages to fight Corona. India has contributed 10 per cent of its GDP to the relief package. Japan has the largest share of the GDP in the relief package at 21.1 percent.

The Corona has rained the most in America. To combat this, the United States has announced a relief package of 13 percent of its GDP, while Sweden has received 12 percent of its GDP in a relief package.

In addition, Germany has announced a relief package of 10.7 per cent of GDP, France 9.3 per cent, Spain 7.3 per cent, Italy 5.7 per cent, the UK 5 per cent, China 3.8 per cent and South Korea about 2.2 per cent.

India has become the 5th country in the world to declare 10 per cent of its GDP as a relief package. The United States has so far announced a 6 176 trillion relief package and more than 21 million people have applied for financial assistance.

PM Modi said that this relief package would change the image of the country. This will help everyone get out of the Corona crisis. He said that this economic package is for our cottage industry, housing industry, our small-medium industry, our MSME as well as our labor brothers.
