The White House unfollowed PM Modi's account in a matter of days

Washington, April 29, 2020, Wednesday

In the midst of the Corona crisis, the White House, the official residence of the US President, recently followed PM Modi on Twitter.

Now the White House has unfollowed PM Modi in a matter of days. Even before PM Modi was followed by the White House, India had announced to give hydroxychloroquine to the US for the war against Corona.

On April 10, the White House followed six Indian Twitter accounts, one of which belonged to PM Modi. However, now all these accounts have been unfollowed.

It was the first time a foreign leader's account had been followed by the White House. The White House now has only 13 Twitter handles, all of which are American.
