Seven years in prison if caught in black market, Central Government warns

New Delhi, Apr 8, 2020, Wednesday

In the wake of the lockdown, the central government has instructed the state governments and the union territories to take action to ensure that the necessary items are available to the people at reasonable prices.

The central government is warning that the necessary services are exempted to continue. Under these circumstances the commodities needed are likely to be blacklisted. State governments should be careful to ensure that such a situation does not occur.

The central government has warned that if a person is caught in the black market, he could face up to seven years in prison.
