During the lockdown, the decision to show the Ramayana and the Mahabharata has proved superheit.
Because of both these serials, the TRP of Doordarshan is touching the sky. Television has reached number one in front of other entertainment channels in the country. Television wasn't even included in the Top 10 list of fun channels before.
According to the data released by the rating agency BARC, Durdshad has reported an impression of 156.48 crore a week in the thirteenth week of the year 2020. Other channels are nowhere near the television.
Even when the two serials aired on television for the first time, their popularity skyrocketed. However, there was no raffle of private entertainment channels at that time. However, even in the midst of a fierce competition, the people of the Ramayana and the Mahabharat show are seeing a lot of talk.
