Police demanded that the Nihang Sikhs be attacked with a sword and cut off their hands

The Nihong Sikhs (who wear a long brown robes shirt and carry traditional weapons) were attacked by police in a lockdown in Patiala, Punjab, amid growing havoc in Corona.

Nihang Sikhs, who reached Man Gate outside Shak Market on Sunday, were asked by police to show a curfew pass. However, after he had hit the man's gate at the market with his car, he attacked the police personnel deployed on duty.

According to police, an Assistant Sub Inspector of the policy has been shaken in the attack by the sword. Another police officer was also injured. Nihang then escaped. His search continues.

Seven Nihong Shikou have also been arrested from a gurdwara located at Balbera in Punjab. There was an operation to get them out. One was also injured in police firing.
