Not a single new case in a week in 80 districts of the country, good news given by the health minister

Amid the ongoing battle against the corona virus in the country, the Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan has also given a good news.

Today, he said, there are 80 districts in the country where not a single new case has been reported in a week. There are 47 districts where no corona positive patient has been reported for 14 days and 39 districts where no new case of corona has been reported for 21 days and 17 districts for 28 days.

The time limit for Corona's case to double was 8.7 days 14 days ago, he said. Corona's case is now doubling in 10.7 days. Rapid testing kits will be made in India for further testing. The kit will be ready by May. The government's target is to conduct one lakh tests daily from May 31.
