A survey conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research on coronary disease patients in India has come out with interesting findings.

The study was conducted on 5911 coronary patients in 52 districts of 20 states of the country. Found that the average age of coronary patients is 54 years. 83 percent of the patients are men and only 17 percent are women. 81% of patients are over 50 years old.

However, researchers have not yet been able to pinpoint why the prevalence of men is higher than that of women.

Some people know that smoking addiction in men may be one of the reasons behind more patients. Because smokers' lungs become weak. In Italy, it has come out to be an important cause.

A social cause may also be that men are more likely to be infected than women, and they are more likely to become infected. However, it can also infect female members at home. Thus, more cases of infection in men may be a topic of research for scientists in the future.
