Government strictly orders NSA on accusers of misconduct at hospital

Uttar Pradesh government has ordered Rasuka (NSA) to be imposed on the accused after the incident at District MMG Hospital in Ghaziabad. Admitted deposits at the hospital have been severely charged.

He has also been accused of demanding BD cigarettes from hospital staff, for wearing Anta Marwas, harassing nurses and making indecent gestures at the hospital premises without wearing pants. The hospital management complained to the SSP and the local police in writing. After which the Yogi government made this decision.

On the Ghaziabad incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "This will not believe in the law, nor the system, this is the enemy of humanity, which he has done to women health workers, it is a grave crime, they are being imposed on Rasuka (NSA)." We will not leave it.

What is the Rasuka (NSA) Law?

'Rasuka' means the national security law. It was created on September 23, 1980, during the government of Indira Gandhi. This statute relates to giving the government greater power to protect the country. The statute empowers the central and state governments to detain suspects. Under which a person in custody can be jailed for a maximum of one year.

Under this law, no suspect can be jailed for up to 12 months without charge. The state government is required to notify that a person has been taken into custody under the NSA. A person in custody under this Act can be held for 10 days without having to decide the charges against him.
