So far, there have been 2301 cases of corona virus infection in the country. 56 of them died and 156 patients were discharged after treatment. In the last 24 hours, 12 patients have died. This was stated by Love Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday approved a grant of Rs 11,092 crore under the state disaster management fund to all states for quarantine and other measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
The Home Ministry said the amount was approved after the Prime Minister's assurance to the Prime Minister during a video conferencing meeting on Thursday. The Home Minister has sanctioned Rs 11,092 crore to all states under the SDMRF.
