Corona: Prime Minister Modi's hint at an all-party meeting, a lockdown could increase in the country

New Delhi, April 8, 2020 Wednesday

Prime Minister Modi today discussed with the leading leaders of all parties through video conferencing to discuss the corona crisis in the country. At the meeting, Modi hinted at the opposition leaders to increase lockdown in the country, the Prime Minister meanwhile said that he will once again discuss with the chief ministers of the states on April 11.

At present 149 people have died in the conflict due to Covid-19, leaders of almost all opposition parties participated in this all-party meeting of Prime Minister Modi, informed the Prime Minister's meeting about the actions of the government to deal with the crisis and sought views from the leaders.

Earlier it was said that the TMC would not participate in the Prime Minister's meeting, but party leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay was also involved.
