Corona cargo on US warship, 550 troops positive, Navy chief resigns

Washington, Ta. Apr 12, 2020, Sunday

The American Navy, which is shaking the whole world with its military prowess, has also entered the Corona virus.

The US Department of Defense has been agitated after the Corona-positive, with 550 sailors on duty at Theodore Roosevelt, one of America's largest aircraft carriers.

An American Navy spokeswoman said 92 percent of the 4800 members on duty on the ship have been investigated. The rest are not infected. They are being relocated to barracks and hotels available in Guam (where the warship is currently stationed).

The ship's captain, Brett Crozier, wrote a letter detailing the serious condition caused by the infection in the ship, alleging that the Pentagon, the US defense department, was not paying attention. The letter was leaked to the media after it became more upset.

Crozier was subsequently removed from office. Meanwhile, the US Navy chief has also resigned after protests broke out in the US.
