The Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO) says that due to the corona virus, India's export sector could lead to employment of about one crore people, and the sector's NPA could rise.
Fio's president Sharad Kumar Sharaf said on Friday that more than half the orders were canceled due to the global business scenario.
Demanding a relief package for exporters, he said that today there is a need to create a balance between life and necessity, of which hardly any country can survive. Exporters have very few export orders.
With the cancellation of more than 50% of orders and the worst scenario of the next time, one million people are expected to be unemployed in the disposal unit. And the rise of NPA will ultimately have an impact on the economy.
