Women's Day today: Women in Kerala will run trains, run police stations

Women will be assigned responsibilities in many places in India, also on International Women's Day. In Kerala, the Minister for Child and Women's Welfare, KK Shailaja, entrusted the responsibility of running a train.

Besides, Kerala police chief Loknath Behra also handed over responsibility for the management of some police stations. Tomorrow is March 8, as it is Women's Day, women will be given special responsibilities.

In the police department, where there is no SHO, senior police civil police officers will be on duty at the police stations, while the Chief Minister Vijayan Pinarai will guard all vehicles.

Apart from this, women will also take care of the CM's official residence in North Block in Delhi. In Kerala, a train called The Venad Express will be run by a female driver.

The train, which departs at 8am in the morning, will carry all the responsibility of the pilot to the pilot, assistant people pilot, pointsman, gate keeper and trackwoman.

Shailaja said it was a matter of great pride for the state that women would be seen in every field. The Venad Express 16302 train will run a women's pilot from Arnakulam to Shorene.
