The top 100 women of the time include Indira Gandhi, Amrita Kaur

The world-renowned magazine Times has released a list of the 100 most powerful women of the century, including Amrita Kaur and the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of the freedom struggle of India. Amrita Kaur is included for the year 1947 and Indira Gandhi for the year 1976. Time Magazine has re-created all the cover pages from 1920 to 2020.

The Times selected Amrita Kaur for Woman of the Year for 1947 and Indira Gandhi for 1976. The Times has also created a special cover page dedicated to women who are a source of inspiration in a particular year. Time magazine reports that the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi became India's great dictator in 1976.

Indira Gandhi became Prime Minister after his victory against Pakistan. Time magazine wrote that Indira Gandhi had made changes to the constitution of the country to gain more power. The Times also mentions the crisis declared by Indira Gandhi in 1975.

According to the Times, Amrita Kaur has been selected as the woman of the year 1947. Princess Amrita Kaur was born in Kapurthala's royal family. He completed his education in Edwardian, but found it more appropriate to devote his life to the freedom struggle in India. He returned to England in 1918 and followed Gandhiji, Time magazine wrote.

In 1930, Amrita Kaur became Gandhi's secretary. She raised her voice for women's education. She was the first woman health minister of India in independent India. He remained in this post for 10 years. He inaugurated the Indian Council for Child Welfare and helped the government in setting up some hospitals and medical colleges.
