The threat of hacking on more than 100 million Android smartphones around the world

New delhi date. March 8, 2020, Sunday

A cyber security company claims that there are more than a billion Android smartphones around the world with drawbacks, so the security has not been updated in this smartphone which makes it very easy to hack.

The cyber security watchdog said that the threat was even higher for Android smart users launched in 2012 or earlier. However, Google has not yet made a statement on the issue.

The security watchdog has also questioned Android smartphone companies, including Google, but no company has made any comment on the issue yet. The agency says that mobile companies need to be more transparent with users about security software.

Generally, smartphone companies, no matter how expensive a smartphone is, do not specify that the user will get a smartphone update for that year. Most smartphones stop getting updates after two to three years.

According to another report, this data from Google itself says that around 42.1% of Android users worldwide have Android 6.0 or below.

Security Watchdog 'Veach' says in its study that two out of five Android users around the world are no longer being given security updates.

The agency claimed that it had also tested the smartphone. These include the Moto X, Samsung Galaxy A-5, Sony Xperia Z-2, Nexus-5 and Samsung Galaxy S6.

The watchdog claimed that the help of a Comparative Anti-Virus Lab was investigated and that the malware was easily injected into each of the smartphones that were sampled.
