Speaker Birla, unhappy with the attitude of the opposition parties, is not coming to the Lok Sabha

New Delhi, Mar 5, 2020, Thursday

Speaker Om Prakash Birla has avoided taking part in the Lok Sabha proceedings for the second consecutive day in the wake of the uproar by the opposition in the Lok Sabha over the Delhi violence.

Opposition protests have been taking place in the Lok Sabha since Monday, demanding that the Delhi violence be discussed. First, Om Prakash Birla had a meeting with the opposition on this issue. Even after that, there were demonstrations in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday and there was a clash with women MPs.

Om Prakash Birla was shocked to see this. He also avoided attending Parliament proceedings on Wednesday and was sitting in his chamber all day.

On the other hand, he did not attend Parliament even today. This led to Bharathari Mehtaab managing the Parliament in his place.

Government is ready to discuss Delhi violence after Holi but opposition MPs are demanding immediate discussion. As a result of this, the scenes of the early days of the Parliament were created. Even today, it is unlikely that the proceedings of the Parliament are going on.

Even today, the opposition, including the Congress, has postponed the Lok Sabha till noon after the slogans in the Lok Sabha.
