No need to prove Indian citizenship from Modi birth: PMO

New delhi date. March 1, 2020, Sunday

The NRC was implemented in Assam and appropriate evidence for citizenship was taken from everyone. In the midst of this situation are 19 million people who could not prove citizenship.

Now that the NRC will be implemented across the country, there is an RTI questioning the citizenship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, in response to which it is said that Narendra Modi has no certificate of being a citizen of this country.

The reply also claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not need any citizenship certificate. An RTI was done in the PMO demanding that Narendra Modi is a citizen of this country and if so, does he have any certificate?

In response, the PMO said that there was no question of whether there was a certificate to prove his citizenship as a citizen of this country since birth under Section 3 of the Narendra Modi Citizens Act, 1955.

However, people questioned on Twitter that if the Prime Minister was not required to prove citizenship under section 3 of the Citizenship Act 1955, why would others have such a requirement?

The Shubhankar government did an RTI in the PMO, in which questions about Narendra Modi's citizenship were sought and evidence was sought. The RTI Actor demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's citizenship be given a certificate.

The above was answered by the PMO and gave the reason for the law. However, after this answer, citizens are now questioning if PMA does not want to prove citizenship and also protects them from doing so, then why not citizens?
