No more than 25000 passengers, crew members allowed to board more than 700 ships at Indian ports

The Central Government has so far taken more than 700 to prevent corona virus infection spreading across the country and has prevented more than 25,000 passengers and crew members from landing at Indian ports.

The Government of India has banned any international cruise ship, crew and members and passengers from the countries affected by the Corona virus until March 31 to prevent them from landing at Indian ports.

According to the shipping ministry, the ban was imposed last week. The government has ordered immediate screening, detention and quarantine system for pilgrims to the 12 major ports.

According to an official, till March 13, a total of 25,504 passengers and crew members boarded 703 ships arriving at major ports in India on 703 ships from other countries affected by the virus infected with China or Corona.

But the government did not allow them to go down on suspicion of spreading the virus. They were told to stop at safe places located on the ports.

As per the WHO directive, all passengers and crew members aboard the ships are being scanned and provided at necessary facilities. There are a total of 12 major ports in India, while the other smaller ports are 200. Which is under the control of state governments.
