Nirbhaya was hanged after seven years of justice

The Nirbhaya scandal that took place on December 16, 2012, in the capital of Sanaa, has brought justice for almost seven and a half years. At 5.30 this morning, Mukesh, 25, Pawan, 26, Vinay, 31, and 31-year-old Akshay were hanged together at Tihar Jail. Defendant's lawyer AP Singh made all efforts to save him till the last minute but did not succeed in one. By late night, the High Court and the Supreme Court had rejected the plea seeking a stay on the death sentence.

Killed in the last hour to survive
A hearing was held in the six-judge chamber on Thursday on the curative petition of guilty Pawan Gupta in the Supreme Court. In the petition, Pawan Gupta argued that he was a minor at the time of the crime.

Pawan Gupta had earlier filed a reconsideration petition in the Supreme Court. At that time Pavan challenged the order dismissing his demand, arguing that he was a minor at the time of the crime. The Supreme Court had also rejected the application. Subsequently, the plaintiff's lawyer AP Singh also wrote to the International Court to stop the execution and demanded that all records be kept to him.

On March 5, the Delhi trial court issued a death warrant for the four criminals to be hanged on the 20th. Death warrants have been issued four times in this case so far. Which was finally implemented today. At the time of the execution, all four criminals were confused and were trying to escape.

This day should be celebrated as Nirbhaya Day
Nirbhaya's mother has demanded from the government that the execution day of Nirbhaya convicts be celebrated as Nirbhaya Day. Taking care of her eight years of struggle, Nirbhaya's mother said, "In such a long time, we have seen many shortcomings of the law closely but we have full faith in the law and that is why we are constantly fighting for justice." Nirbhaya's mother said that every day till the execution of the guilty was no less than a punishment for us. There was hope in the eyes every day that today would be the time when the guilty of Nirbhaya will be punished for their deeds.
