Nirbhaya gangrepe case: The accused Pawan filed a case against the jail police

Pawan Kumar Verma, accused in the Nirbhaya gang rape and death sentence, applied to the Delhi High Court for killing two constables while he was in Mandoli jail last year.

Kadakaduma Chief Metropolitan Magistrate held the petition hearing at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, the wind's lawyer said. The petition sought to order the officer of Harsh Vihar police station to file a case against Constable Anil Kumar and another unidentified constable.

Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court has asked the Tihar Jail authorities to consider the application of a media house to interview the accused in the Nirbhaya murder case.

Justice Chawla said that after determining the date of execution, one of the accused should be allowed to meet his lawyer as he should also accept the media house application.
