Inside attack kills 24 Afghan soldiers in Afghanistan

Kabul, Ta. March 20, 2020 Friday

At least seven Afghan soldiers were killed in an attack on a security forces base early this morning in a southern Afghanistan province. Violence broke out between a group of Taleban and an Afghan army, where militant efforts are being made to make peace in Afghanistan. The violence in the province of Zabul broke out only when Afghanistan was struggling with violence, increasing cases of coronavirus and internal unrest. Besides, rumors were spreading among the people of the two different party leaders claiming to be the president of the country.

The attack in Zabul was the army's 'internal' attack, with several intruders firing on their own comrades while they were sleeping.

It was the largest and most brutal attack since the US signed a peace deal with Taleban last month. The attack that took place early in the morning was at the headquarters of the police and army in the provincial capital, Kalat. 'Three Afghan soldiers were killed and ten policemen were killed in the attack,' Zabul province council chief said.

He added that the four were still missing.

After the attack, they fled with two army vehicles and weapons. The trainees did not respond to the attack. Zabul province, which borders Pakistan, is the largest terrorist base. The biggest abode was Mullah Omar, the supreme leader of the trainees killed in the year 6. The Afghan defense minister Asadullah Khalid was attacked on the second day of the pact to control the coronavirus epidemic.

He said Afghan forces should work more aggressively against the Taliban. Despite a peace treaty between the United States and the United States on February 9, the training has continued with violence.
