Imprisoned till 11 rape survivors of 'Ranchi Nirbhaya'

The fast-track court here sentenced all 12 accused of gang-raping in Ranchi's Nirbhaya to life imprisonment. All 12 accused, including a minor, were present in court through a video conference.

The court found the incident to be a gross misdemeanor. The court said that the accused will remain in jail till his death. The court had completed all the process within 90 days and sentenced the accused.

During the hearing of the case, the entire complex was heavily organized. Ranveer Chief Justice Navneet Kumar found all the accused guilty under sections 376,366,323,120b and 411 of the IPC.

Those who will have to remain in jail till their release include Kuldeep Uranav, Sunil Uranav, Sandeep Tarki, Ajay Munda, Rajan Uravan, Naveen Uranv, Basant Kashyap, Ravi Uravano, Rohit Uranav, Sunil Munda and Yushi Uranav. is closed.

It is worth mentioning that on November 26, 2019, at Kangra's Sangrampur, a 12-year-old girl had committed adultery with a law student. The police filed a charge sheet within 24 days and arrested all the accused on February 29, the same day the police filed a complaint on the same day. As the 12th accused is a minor, his case will go to child protection court.
