If the agreement is broken, I will send as much troops as nobody has seen in Afghanistan: Trump

Washington / Kabul, Ta. March 2, 2020, Monday

Now that the US-Taliban agreement has been reached, the United States will now withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. But the agreement between the Taliban and Afghanistan has collapsed.

Trump, on the other hand, also threatened the Taliban, saying that if the agreement breaks, America will rock a large army in Afghanistan.

Addressing the media in the White House, he said that a reconciliation between the US-Taliban was a welcome thing. But in a threatening tone, he added that if anything goes wrong with this agreement, I will send so much troops to Afghanistan that no one has ever seen such an army. However, Trump expressed optimism that such a situation would not come.

On the other hand, the agreement between the Afghan government and the Taliban has collapsed. According to the Taliban agreement, the leaders of Afghanistan and Taliban have to meet in 10 days to reach an agreement, but the Afghanistan team is not ready in that direction.

Disagreements have surfaced in Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Abdul Abdulla. The two did not agree on who to join the team.

In addition, the president made a statement about Taliban prisoners, which is likely to break the agreement. The president said the government would not release any Taliban prisoner before the agreement was reached. The agreement stipulated that the Afghan government had to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners before the agreement was reached.

The result of these statements was that the Taliban announced the fight against the Afghan army. A Taliban spokesman made it clear that the Taliban would cease operations against foreign troops as the agreement was signed with the United States, but a renewed fight against Afghan forces would continue.
