How does the right of privacy to open-minded rioters? The UP government's argument in the Supreme

New Delhi, Mar 12, 2020, Thursday

The high court has ordered the hoarding to be lifted after the UP government had publicly hoarded the rioters who had come out on violence in protest of the CAA.

However, the Yogi government has gone to court against the High Court verdict.

The government argued that the issue of the right to privacy of rioters who openly carry guns is not raised.

However, during the hearing, the Supreme Court also questioned under which law the Supreme Court has imposed hoardings of the accused. The government cannot act outside the law. Does the government have the authority to install such posters?

However, at present, the Supreme Court has refused to block the High Court order and referred the matter to a three-member bench, which will be heard next week.
