Corona virus is not transmitted due to rainfall, neither is there any relationship between the two

New delhi date. 06 Mar 2020, Friday

Delhi NCR and rains in North India are threatening to spread corona virus in the country. Regarding this, Dr Balram Bhargava, president of the IMRC, said that the decline in temperature due to rainfall has dispelled the suspicion that the corona virus could spread further.

He further said that there was no such thing in the research on the corona virus. Even so, the virus is not transmitted by air. But exposure to the person who has the disease can cause corona virus.

Dr. Bhargava suggested precautionary measures, saying that due to the rise of cold, people have to be careful in diseases like cold, cough and fever. It is also suggested to take measures to increase the body's immunity. A decrease in temperature and an increase in the transmission of corona virus have nothing to do with either. People need not be afraid.

It is worth mentioning that, due to the Western disturbance, the atmosphere had changed. On Friday, the north and north-western areas including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, NCR saw a 4 degree drop in temperature due to rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi NCR has experienced a decrease in temperature due to wind blowing at 30 to 40 km.
