Corona virus effect, pollution reduction in China

Beijing, Tue March 1, 2020, Sunday

Korra virus remains unchanged in China. There are hundreds of people coming in every day to catch the virus.

Corona virus has also reduced pollution in China. This has been the case in China's satellite images taken by NASA, a US satellite agency.

An image released by NASA shows a declining proportion of nitrogen dioxide gas over China's major cities. For this, NASA has compared the first two months of 2019 and 2020.

NASA scientists say the corona has reduced vehicles on the roads and also reduced pollution due to industrial production and economic activities in cities like Wuhan and Shanghai.

Nassan says the level of nitrogen dioxide has declined due to the economic downturn in 2008, but this time the reduction is much larger than the pollution reduction.

At present, 86,000 people have been infected in China due to the corona virus. However, around 400,000 people have recovered after treatment.
