Raipur, Ta-22 Mar 2020, Sunday

Chhattisgarh's Sukma has attacked a large number of Naxals amid a ravaged Koruna virus.

On Saturday afternoon, the Naxals attacked a security force in the Kusama area in the biggest attack in 2020. The search operation for this jet was going back and forth.

After the attack, 17 personnel were reported missing and 14 were injured. The injured were taken to Raipur by air for treatment.

About 300 jawans were on their way to the search operation and on their way back, hundreds of Naxals surrounded and attacked them. The firing lasted for three hours. The Naxalites then fled. By late night the jawans were made into separate teams and brought back to camp. However, the address of 17 of them was not received till Sunday morning.

Due to the dense forests and bad weather, they are having difficulty navigating. The help of the drone has also been taken to find the jawans.
