Central command to seal boundaries of states and districts to prevent labor

New Delhi, Mar 29, 2020, Sunday

In the wake of the lockdown, the central government has now taken a bold stance to prevent the migrating from the cities to the villages by millions of laborers.

The central government has said that it is the responsibility of the collector and SP of each district to comply with the lockdown. All state and district boundaries should be sealed and outgoing people should be camped at the borders.

The government has also ordered that arrangements should be made for the accommodation of the laborers from other states and that timely payment should also be given to them.

Workers from some cities, including Delhi, have stepped out of their villages on foot, threatening the purpose of the lockdown. Scenes of millions of people leaving Delhi alone were seen yesterday.
