Britain's court also rejected Nirav Modi's fifth bail application

Fugitive diamond businessman Nirav Modi has once again been shocked in the Punjab National Bank scam case worth over Rs 10,000 crore. On Thursday, a British court rejected Nirav Modi's bail plea for the fifth time.

India's extradition efforts against the PNB scam and money laundering charges have been going on for a long time. Against which he is fighting a legal battle.

It is worth mentioning that Nirav Modi, who was detained at Wandsworth Jail in south west London since his arrest in March last year, has applied for bail five times so far. The case for Nirav Modi's return to India will be heard from May 11 to May 15.

Today he appeared in court via videolink. The court rejected his bail application despite Nirav Modi's lawyer offering £ 4m bail security, eye confinement, 24-hour electronic tag and continuous surveillance by private security guard, gadget and telephone.
