Two terrorists killed in Kashmir, one Hizbul commander captured alive

In Anantnag, two militants were shot dead by the army. One of the killed terrorists is Naveed Ahmed, a resident of Kulgam while another Yakib Yasin Bhat is also a resident of Vampora in Kulgam.

DGP Dilbagsinh informed about this. He said the operation was a success. Informing about this, Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbag Singh further said that Nawid, who was killed in terror, joined the army in 2018 and has been involved in several terror attacks.

Seven FIRs were filed against him. He was involved in shootings and attacks on police, other security personnel, civilians, etc. Similarly, Yakib Yalin Butt has been active in terrorist organizations since 2019.

Both were hiding in Anantnag, where, after receiving information from the army, there was a heavy fire which eventually killed both the terrorists. While another terrorist has been speeding up his life from Baramulla.

The terrorist is named Junaid Farooq and served as commander of Hizbul Mujahideen in the Pattan area. A pistol, 30 rounds were also seized from the terrorists. The police chief said the captured terrorist had been assigned tasks in which he would select certain people and later kill him.

Junaid was also involved in the terrorist attacks that took place on February 5th. The attack was made by targeting the army, in which two terrorists were killed and one Jawan was also martyred.
