This desert looks like the surface of Mars planet. On its terrain there are heaps of sand and high mountains. The Namib Desert extends from southern Angola to Namibia, 2000 km to the northern part of South Africa. In some parts, the remains of the broken ship are also found. Whale fish skulls have been found in some places. Locals believe that this desert was created by God in anger. Here in 1486, the famous sailor Diego Cao of Portugal also stayed here. He founded the cross here. But he could not stay here because of difficult conditions. After he stopped at this place he named this place the gate of hell.
