Credit and debit cards of millions of Indians are at risk. About four and a half million credit and debit card information is being sold on the Dark Net (spying website), revealed by the cyber security firm Group-IBA. It is a cyber security company based in Singapore.

Group-IB has discovered more than 4,60,000 database, including credit and debit cards. The information being sold includes a card number as well as a CVV code.

This is the second largest uploaded record of Indian card holders' card records. The first case to upload card information came out in October last year.

The value of this information sold on the Dark Net is about $ 4.2 million, or about $ 30 million. It is not currently known how this important information came to the espionage website.

The Group-IB said that they have informed the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) about the sale of debit-credit card information. Dark Net is a detective website that deals with drug trafficking and other illegal activities.
