Rajya Sabha adjourned for opposition in both houses of parliament on CAA and NPR

Opposition in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha had a heated debate on CAA and NPR. Opposition MPs demanded discussion on CAA and NPR issues. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for a day amid heavy turmoil. Opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha shouted slogans against Union Minister Anurag Thakur.

The CAA, NPR and NRC issues were vandalized in both houses of parliament. Opposition MPs including Congress, Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samajwadi Party, CPI had made a big splash in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.

Opposition MPs demanded CAA debate in Rajya Sabha The Congress MPs, led by opposition leader Gulamanbi Azad, criticized the government's stance on the CAA issue and demanded discussion. The program of thanksgiving of the president's speech was halted due to demand from opposition MPs. Eventually the Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned for one day.

Opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha opposed the government on CAA and NPR, NRC issues. Opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha shouted slogans against Anurag Thakur, demanding an investigation into the firing on protesters. Anurag Thakur made such a noise when he shot Gaddar Ko during the election campaign in Delhi.
