Pakistan must end terrorism for friendship with India: White House

Washington, Ta. February 22, 2020, Saturday

Pakistan has received a shocking message ahead of US President Donald Trump's visit to India. In a statement issued by the White House in America, Pakistan has been quick to comment on the issue of terrorism and has given a clear message that dialogue with Pakistan is possible only if it abolishes terrorism.

The White House supported India on the issue of terrorism and said that if Pakistan wants to further its dialogue with India, it must take drastic action on terrorism.

The statement also comes at a time when the International Agency Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has placed Pakistan on the gray list for four months. This step has been taken because Pakistan has failed to take appropriate action against terrorism.

At the same time, the White House has also warned Pakistan indirectly about terrorism. A White House official issued a statement saying, "I think dialogue between India and Pakistan is possible only when Pakistan takes appropriate action against terrorism."

When US President Donald Trump visits India, he can offer similar advice to both countries and ask them to resolve any disputes properly.

Currently, Pakistan is running in the wet, following which it has started to play enough action against terrorists. Hafiz Saeed was arrested and sentenced to 11 years while Masood Azhar Jawi, on the other hand, has been acquitted.

Pakistan is also conducting terrorist attacks in Kashmir, infiltrating the border with Kashmir rag. In the midst of this situation, the United States has hit Pakistan and even threatened to end terrorism.
