After the extradition of Sanjeev Chawla, accused of match-fixing and speculation, there is a stir in the cricket world.

Delhi Police has arrived in India from London today to carry Chawla. Chawla's Delhi Police is investigating a match fixing involving East South African captain Hansi Cronia.

According to the police charge sheet, the absconding British citizen Chawla was linked to other international cricketers, including Indian cricketers.

According to the Crime Branch, a London-based house in Chawla used to be home to a number of Indian cricketers. Chawla's phone records also found the number of cricketers.

It was revealed that Chawla, the cricket series played between India and South Africa, has been fixed. Chawla fled to London after the revelations. Due to which the police could not inquire.

The Crime Branch has also collected some documents from the Scotland Yard of the British Police. Because Scotland Yard caught Chawla in a betrayal in England in 2001.

Another member of the team, Chris Lewis, accused Chawla of offering to pay England captain Alec Stewart for a bad bat at the time.

It was revealed during the investigation that not only India but other players from Pakistan, West Indies and South Africa were also in contact with Chawla. Chawla also came out with a syndicate of Dubai-based speculators. Thus the police will also inquire into its relations with the underworld.

Chawla's inquiry is likely to reveal the names of a number of Indian cricketers.
