Madrasas and Sanskrit high schools run in this state will be closed

The Assam government has decided to close all the madrasas and Sanskrit high schools run by the government by tossing a new chill.

Soon these madrassas and Sanskrit high schools will be converted into secondary and higher secondary schools. However, madrasas run by non-governmental and social organizations will continue. It is not the government's job to provide religious education.

He said that if an organization or society is giving religious education with its own money, there is no problem but there will be rules for it. The teachers of the government madrassas and schools will be closed for no other job. Until he retires, he will be paid home living.

The government's decision will close 612 madrasas and 101 Sanskrit schools.
